What Are The Key Features Of The Project?:
The concept of Eco Villages, “Energy-Economics-Environment". Energy is a
renewable energy such as Wind Power, Sun Power & Water Power.
Its economy from the rural economy/resource based, and learning
workshops. Also a Healing Center/Retreat.
Environment is formed in very environmentally friendly ways and
considered in balance with the natural surroundings.
Who Are The Main Beneficiaries Of The Project?
Those who want to live in the Intentional Community [Eco-Village], the
surrounding community and the people who want to visit or Community to
learn how to live a better and smarter way.
Describe Briefly The Cost Of The Project and/or Planned Future Funding
Of The Project?
To support the system: To obtain the right property, set up legal
structures, fund initial utilities, setting up alternative utilities,
initial materials & housing, monthly operational expenses, and growth will
need about $1 - 5 million dollars. This includes expansions to surrounding properties as time goes along, and for the bigger vision
Currently, we are taking over the Heartwood Retreat property and looking to raise about $500,000. for the property and incidentals associated with that.
Initial legal structure set up and property will be the key to
determining total needs. Much will be "property dependent".
Members monthly assessments, join fees, and income producing vehicles
from the community will cover ongoing expenses and growth.
For now still own self-reliance; will submit proposals to obtain
funding from donor agencies and others who may be concerned about the
environment, alternative energy, alternative building, sustainable living.

Eden: This project may fuel newer communities/villages which are spread
across the country with the concept of environment-friendly
self-sustaining new ways to live, and will become the center in
communities/villages across the country.

To What Extent Has The Project Been Replicated Either Locally,

The Eden Project [Essence Of Eden] will be a pilot, fully self-sustaining
community that will be applied in the model communities/villages that have
local & national, as well as international potential. It is possible to
replicate, once we come into being, using & experimenting with the best
ideas from many sources who are already trying some of them.
